turtleman2020 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 This ship belongs to two alien mechanics. Back shot With the top removed. The box has their oxygen tanks and tools. The aliens and their tools and an add for their company written in alien (hooray for useful stickers) Quote
DraikNova Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Well, I like the colors, as I´ve made a theme based around dark grey and trans lime. The aliens are also well-made. However, the ship isn´t aerodynamic enough. Quote

BasOne Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 In space, streamlining is just cosmetic... No air, no air resistance Just look at a Borg Cube Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Neat idea 'turtleman2020'....roadside repairs in outer space, the mechanics look perfect for the job ! The space craft reminds me a little of the RV from Spaceballs and rubbish collection ship from Quark ! Brick On ! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Neat little ship, the fig combos work very well and the radar dish on top is a nice detail Quote

DraikNova Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Well, there is actually enough air in space that you don't need a spacesuit except to prevent yourself from floating off and protecting yourself from high-speed debris and radiation. Quote
Horry Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Well, there is actually enough air in space that you don't need a spacesuit except to prevent yourself from floating off and protecting yourself from high-speed debris and radiation. oh yes, that would come in handy in space exploration - air in space I find the ship to be nice and clunky - just as I would imagine a rusty repair ship! Maybe you could add one or two external arm-modules in order to carry, detach and attach hull parts from other ships? Quote
DraikNova Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 That's actually true. There is air (and a lot of dust which would also slow you down) in space. Quote

legomr Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Nice colour scheme, I agree with that. It's interesting to note that, in my opinion, the ship itself doesn't look a lot as if it was minifig scale. It was only when I saw the inside image that I realized it is. Quote
