Dread Pirate Rob Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Hi guys, I love your forum, it is fantastic. You have so many talented creators and artists! I was one of those kids who longed to have a Black Sea Barracuda to pillage with in 1989. Thanks to maturity I was able to spend my sensible income from my sensible job on the fleet of Lego pirate ships I always wanted from E-bay. Then when I got kids of my own I had an excuse to buy 'them' an Imperial Flagship, Red Beard Runner, Queen Anne's Revenge and a Black Pearl! I believe that you will never truly have a mid life crisis if you never truly grow up:) My friends and I now play a game called Broadside! with our 14 ships and 12 islands. It is a great game that is easy to learn and lets you blast away with Lego cannon at opposing ships over a refreshing beverage of your choice. We have the rules and photos of games in progress on our Facebook site at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Broadside-A-Lego-Pirate-Game/231182840248664 and if you feel like a game next time you are in Australia, give me a-hoy.
