For DC it has to be Gordon straight away with out any thinking. The detail on his face is perfect and the torso is incredible. It's tough for Marvel as there isn't a large selection so I'm going to go Nick Fury. Although I like Vemom I still think Fury looks very cool and I love how they gave him the same head that he has on the Avengers posters, but the Ultimate Spider-man torso. The figs that are a big let down are Penguin ( looks like he's got a lot of food in is mouth) JJ Jameson ( the wrong hair and colour when compared to the cadtoon) and Spider-man ( the blue is to light in the cartoon he has a dark blue like Batman's cowl in the funhouse).

I voted Pengie and Doom. I am very supprised to see gordon is mor popular than everyone else when you have the choice of New pengie, Scarecrow,Mr freeze etc? Oh well we all have our different tastes.

Why only Superhero? Why not ALL licensed figures?

I love the Hobbit and the Rancor.

Those will be talked about in their respected forums.

I am a little surprised at the lack of love for Nova? Sure he is a less known character, but that new helmet mold looks pretty darn good to me! I still have a feeling there is more Marvel to come in this first wave

Marvel: Doom - because Doom is such a great villian with alot of personality and I really like the Fantastic Four, who are also great characters with personality. So, supporting Doom feels like I'm also supporting the FF (just so long as it's not their Future Fondation colors - bleh!).

DC: I'm calling it White Lantern Batman. I know it'll probably end up being called "anti-freeze" Batman and being added to a Mr. Freeze set, but it looks like a really useable White Lantern version. In a way, supporting White Lantern Bats feels like I'm also supporting the potential for other White Lanterns - Supes, Flash, etc.

Venom and Aquaman for mwah. Venom, because, well duh, he looks amazing! But Nova is a close second! And Aquaman because even though he's not my favorite hero, that is one step closer to completing my JL (just Green Lantern, Flash, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter!) and because he's the only DC character besides Gordon that isn't just a re-modeled re-hash. Although I do really love Freeze and Scarecrow.

The line-up is great and I can't wait to get them all!

I voted TDKR Bane because it looks so spot on. I can't believe they are making him. But a nice second place is Scarecrow actually.

Marvel is Venom of course. He has been long wanted it seems. I always liked him as a kid and it is great to get him in Lego form.

I'm not questioning Lego's motives because I know they will release everyone's favorites in due time. I'm still surprised at the people surprised they secured the license for a second year. It would have to be a multi-year license to make it worthwhile for all parties involved. Which means, many more years of great looking favorites.

My choices are Gordon and Venom. Venom due to those hilarious attachments as well as being a classic Spidey villian.

Although I like the Bane figure he's a little cartoony in comparison to the custom I already own: http://thr2.pgmcdn.net/sites/default/files/imagecache/thumbnail_570x321/2012/03/dark_knight_rises_lego_trailer_a_h.jpg

But the Gordon figure is beautiful in both detail and accuracy.

Bane and Venom, because their my fav villans and Lego did amazing job on them,l'm also amazed with Nick Fury and Dr doom ,l love fury's classic look even his from the tv show he looks fantastic as much his face printing.Dr doom is exactly like l imagined him very detailed torso and legs, green cape AND hood(for the first time) but his face printing isnt so detailed and not so serious and much more kidish well still l like him,Venom is my fav from the whole marvel line up,he looks classic and even l l dont like the tv show(Ultimate Spiderman) he looks detailed and original ,his tentacles are nice touch and make he look more mennacing, bane is also epic, when l saw him l was "WOW DKR sets l'm coming for ya",over all l must admit nexts year super heroes line up will be way better,l hope some day we get the classic version of Green Goblin.

For DC, I would say Aquaman, he is one cool fig. I would also choose Nick Fury for Marvel, he is neutral enough to be used with the Avengers.

I have always been a huge fan of Mr. Freeze. I can't wait for a set with him to come out. I don't care if it's $10 or $150, I'm getting him.

Venom for Marvel and Anti-Freeze Batman for DC (I'm guessing that's white Batman)

But my top two are actually both Marvel, the other's Dr.Doom. :sweet:

For me it would be Bane and Nick Fury. However Freeze and Doom are also good.

That's a really tough poll to vote on. I decided to go with Nick Fury just b/c I'm glad the Avengers (movie based) are complete.

Aquaman is pretty awesome in my book, so that was my DC vote.

Mister Freeze is my favorite for D.C., but I'm not quite sure I like his head printing. :sceptic: I'll probably end up replacing it with the old head, unless the new head is reversible with glasses.

Not the biggest Marvel fan except for Spiderman so I'd have to say that Venom is my favorite. Hopefully we get an Anti-Venom in the future. :sweet:

Oh, Freeze without a doubt. I've got an urge to pick up the Batcave (Bane and Poison Ivy), so I can have the three villains from Batman and Robin. I'd love to make a parody Brickfilm.

I didn't really care for most of the Marvel figures, so I picked Venom. The black piraka spines really work. J. Jonah Jameson would be a close second favourite.

I was playing through the old Ultimate Spider-Man video game for the Gamecube and found out they have a pretty good level with Beetle dressed in the exact same suit that the minifig has on! He is a pretty cool villain and looks great in fig form so I am definitely more excited about getting him! Plus the episode of the show coming out next week is the one with Beetle and it looks like Nova is helping Spidey take him down so that will be two great figs in one set!

Definitely Mr. Freeze! He's the one villain I've been wanting for the Batman series, but the old MF is a bit too pricey. This new one looks a lot better anyways so it'll give me an excuse to pick up that set which will hopefully also contain white-suit Batman!

The ol' buckethead Nova. :P I think that the Beetle fig isn't a must buy for me, but if I do get the chance I might get whatever set he's in.
