Who was the fourth figure? There's only Batman, Bane and Gordon that I can see. Unless you mean the security guard... I highly doubt that it will be reappearing as a TDKR figure, as it's based on other media.

Not neccessarily. It isn't based on "other" media. It's just a generic guard. We don't know what the DKR set could represent. We don't even know if it is the Tumbler or the Bat. Could be them in front of City Hall. Could be them at the Stock Exchange. The guard fig can work for both, and both locations featured Batman and Bane. Could be anything.

Youre in luck, next weekend's episode is "beetle mania" where Spidey is tasked to protect JJJ from a high tech enemy( I'm guessing Doom) and also protect MJ from Beetle. I think Spidey and Nova were switched on the display.

Nova also appears, according to the commercial.

I think that the TDKR set will fature Bane, Gordon and Batman, Bat and camo tumbler and will be the same size as Batwing set from january wave, which also has 3 figs and 2 vehicles.

That would make sense, but after seeing the movie, it would be a shame if Selina Kyle wasn't made in a set w/ the Batpod.

I'm guessing that Lego still has some sets up their sleeves to surprise us.

Yeah, but Lego stated that the set will be just inspired by the movie not directly based on it. They may also keep Catwoman fig for future set.

Not 2013 news, but 2014 news. Falcon has been confirmed for Captain America 2. This means we will probably get a Falcon Minifigure!

Do you think his wings will be like Manbat from the batman games or like the MF bat guy?

I think falcon will just use the MF manbat arms, probably in red. Unless they radically redesign his traditional costume for CA2.

I can almost guarantee falcon will be redesigned. His comic book look is probably too "unrealistic" as has been the excuse to change cap and thors looks in the movies. His wings will probably be like a jet pack or something similar to batman's from the cat woman chase set.

Cap wasn't too radically redesigned. I like Falcon look. Either way, I hope he isn't given a black suit like hawkeye and black widow . It worked for them, but not Falcon.

Now that I've seen TDKR, I'm a little disappointed with how LEGO has done Bane's mask. I think it should be a helmet that fits around his whole head, just leaving his eyes and upper parts of his head exposed, same as the mask itself. The actual breather part that covers his mouth is too big to just be printed.

I don't know, for us FOLs, it would be great. But you never see under the mask anyway, and I don't think LEGO would want to make a mold for a piece that'll only show up once. Making loads of new molds is what nearly got TLC bankrupt years ago anyway I heard.

Personally, I really hated TDKR so I honestly couldn't care less about getting sets based off the movie, except for getting a Gordon fig.

I prefer the printed over a new mold too. A new mold would be cool, but seems like it would be odd on a minifigure head IMO.

The more I think about it, a helmet would be strange. Still, I can't wait to get my hands on this fig, and I'm really upset that LEGO didn't jump on the Dark Knight Trilogy sooner. I would have loved more than one set based on this amazing trilogy. Just enough sets to get the vital heroes and villains, like Alfred, Rachel, Selina, Ra's, Crane, Joker, Harvey and Miranda Tate. But, alas,we will most likely never see these characters made into official figures in sets based on exact scenes from the films, and this is not the place for such dreams and wishes.

On another note, although we only know about Batman, Bane and Gordon for the FIRST wave, we could see a set with a TDKR Catwoman in the SECOND wave of next year. Although unlikely, it could happen.

Lego's Bane looks great! I think we as a community complain too much...Iron Man gets a new mold, people want a printed head. Bane gets a printed head, people want a new mold! (I like Iron Man's helmet, by the way)

Ummm have you seen all the new molds we have been getting in the past few years, both licensed and general? A ton.

Just look at the new dwarves in the Hobbit set. New molds all around.

Ya i don't think the mold is the problem. I think the real problem is that it would look strange with it? We do complain too much as a community! At first we were complaining that they weren't going to make TDKR figs, and now that they are making them, we are saying they aren't good enough?

As for Bane you could modify the mask Dark Magnus has.. that could work.

All of the straps of the mask would end up being much thicker than we would like them to be if they were a separate piece. In the movies, the straps while wide are very thin and tight on the head. LEGO can't do such a thing, though, even with its more rubbery materials, since they might break. The top strap especially would have to be thick enough to receive the stud and still not break. It would end up being gigantic and everybody would hate it more than the printed version. So be happy that he's this way and that we get Bane at all.

The way I see it, TLG puts so much time, money and resources into these figs. I'm sure they talked through the pros and cons of printing the mask, and in the end came to the best decision they could. It is really a blessing we get these figs at all, seeing as they are far more targeted to the AFOL audience. And so as much as I wish they had decided to do Catwoman, or chosen to to a whole wave of DKR sets like they did with Avengers, I believe that they have ultimately made a wise decision which will be best for the line as a whole in the long term. So even if they don't always make decisions we like, if these sets are still going in 10 years time I can assure you that me and I'm sure many of you will be much happier.

Star Wars and LOTR have the bulk of these new molds, but they are guaranteed to be sold. Also, the new molds turn up more than once in these themes. The TDKR set will be a one off most likely, why make a new mold for a set you're only going to make once? Even then they don't even know if that particular set will sell very well.

The Superheroes line has gotten some new moulds, even single-use ones. Magneto's helmet isn't going to come out in another set any time soon, I shouldn't think. Nova's helmet is very specific. Other lines that aren't guaranteed sellers as well get new, specific moulds; Monster Fighters got the Werewolf head, the swamp creature mask. Toy Story had a new mould in every set! I really think it's more an issue of the mask not working very well as a separate piece.

Th superheroes line looks like it has also sold extremely well. Most of the shops near me struggled to keep them in stock. Admittedly it's slowed down now that the Avengers hype has gone and that both waves came out very soon into the year. However they are still moving off the shelfs. Also not all star wars sets are guarenteed to sell just look at the Jedi shuttle and Bounty hunter gunship they had some good unique molds but they didn't shift a lot of numbers.
