Rocketbilly Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Would that be possible? I can't remember Lego doing any transparent mini figures before and if that is correct, is there a reason why? It wouldn't work. It would be too fragile, apparently and the friction between two transparent elements is too great. There's been a lot of talk about this over the years, and it's an interesting topic.

Make them from Maresk blue or a light blue with white printing.
omot Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Detailed News about the Sets beginning 2013 on german-side "Imperium-der-Steine": Imperium-der-Steine
Bobsy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Detailed News about the Sets beginning 2013 on german-side "Imperium-der-Steine": Imperium-der-Steine Interesting. That 30 euro BARC speeder set, is that 2 or 3 speeders? I see BARC and Flitknot, but my german's non-existant, so... Surprising to see the AT-RT at battle pack price but with only three minifigs. I guess the build got slightly too big to be a normal battle pack.

The BARC has something like a side car or a turret with a cannon, where Rex is sitten on it.
XimenaPaulina Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 There are two speeders ... The BARC has something like a side car or a turret with a cannon, where Rex is sitten on it. BARC with side car: It would be interesting to see if the design of the BARC would be the same as the last one or we'd get an improved version this time (though I highly doubt it). I'd assume this will also be the set where we'll get the Phase II Rex (and not in the Z-95 set).
Krulis Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 The list sounds good but I don't remember Ashoka fighting on Umbra Oh, at least we'll propably get new uniforms for her and Obi-Wan.
augustus Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Isnt it weird that we have a second Endor planet set in such a short time??
Bobsy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Isnt it weird that we have a second Endor planet set in such a short time?? Unless this is ACTUALLY Endor, instead of Endor's forest moon. Which would be equally odd because I'm pretty sure Endor never got a single frame of screentime.
lightningtiger Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Interesting to read that we are getting two CW battle packs and one with a Jedi ? That 75002 with Yoda will sell like hot cakes !
omot Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 there was a mistake concerning the price of the AT-RT: correct is 26,99 €
Bobsy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 there was a mistake concerning the price of the AT-RT: correct is 26,99 € Doh. Well, the AT-RT had better be something proper special then.
Lobot Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 My initial 'Meh' reaction is confirmed. The Rancor set is the only set that holds any interest for me. Ah well, at least it will be a cheap year (unless they finally release a new Cloud City....!)
Im a brickmaster. Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) The BARC speeder sounds promising! You can never have to many BARCS. Hopefully this means a phase 2 Rex? Edited September 1, 2012 by Im a brickmaster.
Brickadeer Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the info The list sounds good but I don't remember Ashoka fighting on Umbra Oh, at least we'll propably get new uniforms for her and Obi-Wan. Due to the list, Ashoka will be redesigned, while Obi Wan won't. I still wonder what kind of clones will be in the battle pack, and if the AT-RT will a TCW set (which seems pretty likely at this point since it doesn't come with a new Yoda). The BARC set sounds nice; to me, it all depends if they make Rex right... The Umbaran MHC is a big surprise to me, I didn't suppose they'd feature Umbaran vehicles. I'm pretty curious how the vehicle and the figs will turn out to look. The BARC speeder sounds promising! You can never have to many BARCS. Hopefully this means a phase 2 Rex? It's a redesigned Rex, so I think it's very likely. Edited September 1, 2012 by Brickadeer
lightningtiger Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Doh. Well, the AT-RT had better be something proper special then. I agree, better be an AWESOME design for what figures it comes with.
Gubi0222 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 this list is very good the must buys are:Clone Trooper vs. Droidikas,AT-RT, Z-95 Headhunter,BARC Speeder,Umbarran MHC the others not intressed me finaly we get new Asoka, Rex, Obi wan and clones but only 2 Umbaran Soldiers
Brickadeer Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Due to tomo, the droidekas in the bp are normal ones, while the one in the AT-RT set is a sniper droideka. Maybe the bp is an ep 2 set?
commanderneyo Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Well, I don't know about you guys, but I love this line-up. It kicks 2012's weak megablocks in my opinion! The Planet sets in my opinion are the weak point. By the sounds of it, I may only be picking up 1 of those, the Coruscant one, depending on pics. The other 5 I can easily pass on. But... the main sets. WOW! They are awesome! The battle packs are must-haves. AT-RT set I will now buy for sure. Z-95 Headhunter is another great set, can't wait for that. And the two newly confirmed sets= Too awesome. Barc Speeder & Flitknot Speeder sounds really cool, very excited for new Obi-Wan & Phase II Captain Rex. And the Umbaran Mobile Cannon, I never even dared think Lego would consider it, major props. All the mini-figures are great too, especially looking forward to a new Ahsoka & the Umbarans. All in all, I'm very happy with this line-up. I will buy all the Clone Wars sets, as well as the TOR battle pack and maybe the Rancor Pit.
Hulk_Smash Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 It's cool to hear about theses new sets, I can finally get an Asoka! Refresh my memory, what is the Umbaran mobile tank?

The numbering seems to line up with sources that say all Lego sets will switch to five numbers. I much prefer this wave now after seeing many positive things: - The droidekas in the BP are regular droidekas and the AT-RT has the sniper droideka. - All of the clones are likely to be phase 2. - We are going to see a new Ahsoka (but not a new Obi-Wan?) - And we are also getting Pong Krell. I will probably be buying the the planet sets just for completeness, and all of the main sets if I find the money. Empty wallet again it seems. Edited September 1, 2012 by Admiral-Ackbar
Pulp Detective Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Hmm lego is starting putting 5 numbers on the sets codes, any ideas why??Just wordering.
Fives Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 The BARC speeder sounds really promising. I have a feeling that it will be based on the episode with the Togruta prisoners (the name of the episode itself escapes me), which means we will get a new BARC with the side car with turret. And for $30 I wouldn't be surprised if the commando droids get speeders as well.
