Solscud007 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I just got my Quinjet set the other day and built it yesterday. This morning I was looking at my Catwoman and wondered how a swap with Black Widow would look. I think the Catwoman body make for a decent cartoon/comic Black Widow. What do you think? Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I don't know about Black Widow, not too familiar with her, but Catwoman looks good in her costume. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 The Catwoman suit has the Black Widow emblem on the belt so I'd say it's a pretty good match. That being said, the Black Widow minifig suit works better for Black Widow since Catwoman had fewer suits with cleavage. Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Yeah, that does work pretty well. The Catwoman suit has the Black Widow emblem on the belt so I'd say it's a pretty good match. That being said, the Black Widow minifig suit works better for Black Widow since Catwoman had fewer suits with cleavage. Well, there is the Arkham City game, that's got quite a bit. Quote
prateek Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Instead of changing the body, how about a shot with just the heads swapped. I wanna see what Black Widow would look like without cheekbones. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Instead of changing the body, how about a shot with just the heads swapped. I wanna see what Black Widow would look like without cheekbones. And with purple lipstick? I really like the new Catwoman. She looks nice! What about using Padme's (2011) head or Leia's (2011) head for BW? Quote
TheWarden Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 What about using Padme's (2011) head or Leia's (2011) head for BW? I hate to be one of those people, but I'd like to see this too. Actually, if no one else is able I can do the new Leia head swap and take a photo if someone reminds me... I, too, will be mixing up a solution to the official Black Widow fig. LEGO just didn't knock her out of the park for me. Quote
Alldarker Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Wow... That swap works out surprisingly well! I wouldn't have blinked an eye if both had come out of the box like that! I have both the Quinjet and Catwoman, going to have to check it out for myself to see how that works for me. Quote
Bricktooth Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 And with purple lipstick? I really like the new Catwoman. She looks nice! What about using Padme's (2011) head or Leia's (2011) head for BW? This is with Padmé's head: The only problem with this is that the eyebrows are brown and the hair is orange, but except for that the head fits well. I don't have the new Leia fig, so I can't do a picture with that head. Quote
Vindice Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Well, there is the Arkham City game, that's got quite a bit. Pervert! I'm not a big fan of these cheekbone designs. Look too much like scars to me. Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Pervert! I'm not a big fan of these cheekbone designs. Look too much like scars to me. Hey, I was just making sure he knew about it. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 This is with Padmé's head: ~snip~ The only problem with this is that the eyebrows are brown and the hair is orange, but except for that the head fits well. I don't have the new Leia fig, so I can't do a picture with that head. Hm, I don't think that looks too bad. Could you take a picture with Padme's alternate face? Quote

K-Nut Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I was thinking the same thing, just too lazy to do it. Quote
purpleparadox Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Looks good to me! I'm hardly familiar with Black Widow outside of The Avengers (movie), but I'm a bit of a Catwoman fan and it looks pretty sweet...although, yes, yes, we all know there's quite a bit of cleavage with that suit. Quote

You can pretend it is Haley Berry Catwoman haha Quote
Hobbestimus Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I think the Catwoman body make for a decent cartoon/comic Black Widow. She's totes more comicy. Could use a pair of vambraces for her trademark weapons. That could put it over the top.I really dig Catwoman in BW's clothes, though. It's easy to imagine all those pouches stuffed with cat-burglary gear like lock picks and such. Makes her seem more functional. Quote
TheLegoJoker Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) I took some brasso to Black Widow's cheeks and she looks way better in my opinion. *EDIT* Here's the pic. After taking it, I had to reapply the Brasso, as I missed part of one of the cheek lines. Black Widow's Face Lift by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr Edited July 11, 2012 by agentofchaos73 Quote
Lightning Dragon Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Catwoman looks great, Black Widow looks OK. I think Catwoman looks good with her "no-glasses face" side behind the mask. TLG made the Black Widow minifig look a little too old, in my opinion. Edited July 11, 2012 by Lightning Dragon Quote
