I'm curious. What would you say for their guild when you see a figure from the collectible series and sets used in a MOC. In another words. Which guild is the most appropriate for these figures if you use them as they come out of the package?

My answer will be:

1- Avalonian (Definately)

2- Kaliphlin

3- Cedrica?

4- Nocturnus

5- Kaliphlin?

6- Mitgardia

7- Avalonia

8- Kaliphlin

9- Kaliphlin or Cedrica?

10- Avalonia

11- Cedrica?

12- Nocturnus

I wouldn't have particularly identified "6" as Mitgardian. It's blue, not green and yellow.

Also "2" and "3" I could also see in Kaliphlin, but all the others I guess I agree with.

Well I think the choices are well made.

But on personal taste I like to combine some of those minifigs.

As an example I used the Roman Helmet combined with Avalonian torsos for a type of Explorers for challenge 3. The result was fine.

For me, they can all fit in each of the guilds. That´s one thing I like with GOH, we don´t have any special faction for one Guild. I use the new Dragon Knights but I know that Dr Rod in Nocturnus also uses them! :classic:

I think that's a great way to put it- in Kaliphlin, we have mummies, werewolves and other monsters/fantastical creatures, which, if stereotypically assigned to a guild, would end up in Nocturnus, and I've seen Mitgardian and Avalonian Orcs. GOH gives us the freedom to join a guild we like, and use the minifigures we have, regardless of faction to represent ourselves in that guild. It promotes creativity, and a rich backstory, beyond the "I'm a evil character, thus I must be Nocturnian", or "I'm a knightly warrior elf, thus I must be Avalonian".

Having said that, some minifigures do slot into guilds easier than others.

Yes i totally agree with you. Every figure can be used partially or fully for every guild.

My question was that which of the guild is the most suitable for these official figures.

I do agree that some fit better in a few of the guilds.

Now, speaking of Cedrica, is there a moc that shows any of the official army uniforms? I was thinking of doing a Cedrica MOC - actually a trial of one of the traitors we found at the battle we ran two weekends ago.

Maybe the announcements for the challenges? I think they have some bits in them.

For the most part, I agree. However, 6 is definitely Kaliphlin. We're the only guild that actively uses blue in their uniforms. And I believe one of the Avalonians actually allied with the Wolfgang, so 12 is theirs.

Dr Rod bought 150 black with red hip pants for his men, to distinguish them from those nancy Avalonians

Dr Rod moved to Nocturnus a few years ago as his nefarious alchemical experiments were becoming unpopular in other areas of Historica. He took with him the hardest and most psychotic dragon troops he could gather

Yeah, I like combining minifigs too. Bandit's face, tarzan's hair, and the elf's torso, cape, and pants, for example. Looked Great to me.
