Jimbobulus Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I think today is the happiest day of my life- I discovered LDD and This forum on the same day! I can see many an hour wasted successfully in the pursuit of creating Lego perfection! Hello everybody, nice to meet you all. I am almost 100% interested in the historical and pirate themes although some of the licensed themes are of interest also :) Quote
Spider-Man Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Hurray for your best day ever Pirate Yoda is a rare best day celebration gift! Can't wait to see some of the LDD stuff you come up with! Quote
Jimbobulus Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Thanks!! LDD sort of came at a bad time- I'm half way through a massive castle I was making. If I had found LDD a week ago I could have designed the whole thing on there, I think now it may be a a bit too daunting to put it on there just now.. I have done a quite basic Ship (a bit like the LOTR ones that arrive at the battle of the Pelennor Fields) which is on there. Its quite basic though only using the basic bricks anyone has but I will upload it none the less :) As for Pirate Yoda, I'm touched and honoured! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Welcome aboard new lego addicted! Quote
Jimbobulus Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 Im not new to Lego! Not by a long stretch! However most of my collection has come via the form of birthday/christmas presents, however I am now reaching the stage where I can lose more of my money than is proper into the Lego cause.. :D Quote
Brickington Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 You know, you sound I lot like me. Cause my favorite Lego Themes/Categories are Pirate and historical. And my collection is all from Birthdays and Christmas. What are your two favorite themes? Quote

Haha maybe we are two twins separated at birth It was always annoying, I had an older brother, and he would always got the more advanced sets My favourite two themes are Castles and Pirates. If I had to be more specific than that, I would say the Black Knights as the 6057 Sea Serpent set was my first one I had, and I have fond memories of that one!! You? Quote
