Perfect amount of complexity and greebles and good job of making it look old-school! Kinda makes me think "ghostbusters" for some reason.

I love that design. Who would have thought that these peaceful looking, smiling Classic Astronauts would construct such modern and powerful robots? Blacktron should watch out...^^

It does look a bit more space policeey than I'd like really I needed more grey and blue but I only had these colours. Originally it was all white but it was very very boring. I would like to have reversed the colour ways on the tops of the legs, with blue roof panels and the 1x3 slopes under the chin should also have been blue and that's just for a start.

Overall though I'm happy with how the design turned out - those police motorbikes were a real pain to incorporate and still keep stability and posability!

Well, now that you mentioned it, the grey and blue stand out more. It's an awesome mech. With a gun-shield. And a katana-claymore.

Nice and balanced, some nice little CS touches.

Great piece usage - particularly the head and the rib cage (looks awesome) and all the random greebles in the back

Though given the huge sword, the sheild looks a bit puny no?

There seems to be some confusion about the arm cannon. I have posted another picture to clarify.

The "shield" part is actually a radar dish skeleton, it's a remnant of the pre-war build. In my story I imagined that the arm was repurposed quite quickly and certain elements of the mech were best left in to save build time in a war situation.

I built a sword shield combo independent of the mech and then used the katana because I liked it so much last minute - in another variant it had a powermaul which was more in keeping with the colour scheme (light grey). I was kinda iffy about putting a close comabt weapon and gun on it but I had already put a lot of effort into the cannon arm so I went with it anyhoo. the shield is built - tonight I will build out the the other arm and post a picture of it as I think it's worth a look.

Though I agree, the sword is really nice, especially the counterbalance.
