ryanoliono Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 So, as i was in my dark age when the original Batman sets came out and they sell for such high prices I've been considering bricklinking the parts for the Batwing set and the Bat tank set, does anyone think this is a good idea, or will it turn out to be just as expensive as buying the sets on the bay? thanks in advance for any advice Quote
Oky Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 As far as I know, the Batman sets didn't have any exclusive parts, so yes, I'd say it would be much cheaper bricklinking the parts, especially if you're not planning to get the figs (which cost about as much as the set they came in). Quote
ryanoliono Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 ah awesome, well i have a few batmen figures so I'm not too bothered about the figures, it would be nice to have a riddler but it may just be a case of watching the price on him, well i guess i shuld start the process of printing the peeron parts lists off Quote
Vindicare Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 If you want the Riddler, just buy 6857 Jokers Funhouse and you'll get a cool Riddler fig. Quote
Sam892 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I did this a couple of months back and ordered the parts for set 7676 the republic attack gunship. Its a good idea to do but you need to be careful when doing it as a lot of pieces were not available in the UK do I had to order from the US. So make sure to always check the postage and what not. I saved about £50 on the Gunship and all the parts were brand new. Recently I've been thinking about bricklinking parts for the tumbler set. If your not bothered about figured then go for its an easy way to get a nice cool set at a reasonable price. Quote
ryanoliono Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 I recently Bricklinked the parts for the Brent Waller tumbler and it worked out well for me. Definately going to piece together the batwing this way it looks so cool and the new one pales in comparison I think Quote
KurttKrueger Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I Bricklinked the older Batmobile for about £20 a while a go, so I was happy with that. Quote
