Hoexbroe Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hi, I present you yet another piece of american 50´ies culture and history; The roof is semi-transparent. I think this could have happened in 1959, although it isnt exactly common... Thanks to the roof, the interior can be seen very well, almost as if the building had interior lighting; The MOC has a complete interior decoration; I want you to see teh kitchen, but it is very difficult to get a good shot of it; I still havent decided what name to put on the sign. Any suggestions¿? Quote

That jukebox is lovely :) and the two different shades of red work surprisingly well together. The awning and the diagonal pattern below the windows look great. A name? The interior details are all there! The booths, the jukebox, fruit tray, pie case, stools, just great! I love that jukebox, are those custom chromed pieces? I don't recognize them... I am only missing a bit of sidewalk or street on the outside. The details on the inside are just fantastic! I really like the red benches. Regarding the name on the big sign, that depends on how you want to do it; sticker or brick build. I would keep it short like "Joe's". Quote

There will be sidewalk, as this is part of a bigger diorama. It´s sidewalsk is currently attached to the Union-76 petrol station, but I havent space enough to set it all up at the same time... This name with be a sticker, and yes; it´s better to keep it short. Quote

I also really enjoy the fridge and the old style cash register...very nice. The brickwork at the bottom with the slopes also a nice touch. Thanks for posting. Quote

If you are planning on chaining anything, i would make the kitchen a little bigger, but other wise amazing PLEASE tell me how you have made those booth seats....they are AMAZING! Quote
