I don't own MMV yet (probably will soon), what do you think are the most simple, obvious steps into making it into a LOTR Bree town, complete with Prancing Pony?

(Yes, I do plan on keeping their yellow heads as I don't mind mixing yellow heads with fleshies)

One obvious addition would be a wooden perimeter wall made out of reddish brown palisade bricks - with a gate & gatekeepers hut. Then landscape the whole thing onto a 64x64 baseplate with additional trees and greenery. The pub could do with some enlargement too - barely enough room for one hobbit at the moment, let alone four plus Aragorn. All depends on how many bricks you have available really.

PS. And while you're at it - swap out that 'orrible blue colour they use on the tavern. White would be much better.

This might be handy for reference:

The most obvious change would probably be to add more hobbits, though there is one already in the set that easily passes for one. And to remove the two Crown Knights (unless it’s the Fourth Age). You’ll need Aragorn, no doubt. And probably a few Nazgûl lurking around!

I would just add the gate if you don't have the pieces for the rest of the walls. Also, I would obviously build the Prancing Pony, and the tavern across the street where Aragorn and the Hobbits watch the Nazgul stab the beds.

I'm sure your finished lego-rendition of Bree will be excellent. If you can, maybe you should make a cobblestone path for some of Bree, to make it have more of a village-feel.

Good luck.

Assuming you're basing it off the little we saw of it from the 1st movie, a detailed Prancing Pony, some crafting buildings, and maybe some stables as well for the horses and carts.
