OOC: I will have her in my Inventory.

"Sorrow, Benji will you let me train the guards in sword drills and dodges?"

" Can we get oil? Farmers, I would suggest you move across 1, find some more materials. Guards, Prepare for training."

Lycan raises his sword and practices fighting techniques with the troops. He teaches them how to block the incoming attack with their weapons. He then teaches them how to dodge, and block then strike. When the troops are ready, Lycan sees how much wood is left.

Each guard can now do 1 more damage each round in battle! Lycan has gained a level of experience!

"Benji, Sorow, can we go back to the town ? I would like to purchase a throwing knife very much with my new gold!"

You do know you don't have to ask? I'll just update the map and put your picture in the town section.

Posted (edited)

OOC: That would be much appreciated.

Lycan Strides toward the Weapons Tent, and says" That throwing Dagger, I would like. Here's your gold" Lycan hands over 50 gold leaving him with 17.

I stare down the scavenged helmets, rubbing my chin in thought.

"Are you in deep thought? id din't even know you thought at all!"

I take a small log from the pile of lumber the peasant's made, and with bravado, smash one of the helemts with it to see if it presses or compacts even slightly. If so, I pound away!

Sorrow smashes away at the helmet. But the wood is no mach for a steel helmet. The end of the log starts to bend and splinter/crack."

"Shopkeeper? I've bought that dagger!"

QM Note: Oops, forgot to post the stats. The map will be updated soon.

Here's the map. Sorrow, your soldiers march off in pairs, and they collect 3 helmets for you. So that makes 4 helmets total to do what ever with. Also, your farmers are looking bored in the corner, they're not finding any supplies. It's about 3 o'clock.

charisguard.png

"Heroes, we need to hurry up gathering materials, the execution should start at midnight."

map12.jpg

I rub my temples in frustration: The execution was tonight?!

"Farmers, 2 right, 4 down. I want one of you to repair the riot shields so each guard can last the full four rounds. Also, take any small, thick pieces of wood you have and whittle each end so that they are stakes. I want you to make 12 stakes for every guard, and jam them into their shields when you are done repairing them. That'll make them do more damage, and combined with Lycan's training, these guards might actually be a powerhouse. The rest of you farmers, lightly harvest the forest I pointed you to. I want some cover left, please and thanks. If you come across or have any rope or rope substitute, please tell me."

I point at Guard 3.

"I'm not usually this blunt, but: Hey, you! The weapons tent is run by a Charis Guard, right? Do you think if we go together, we could convince him to join our cause and get him to supply us some weaponry for you guys?"

"Oh my Sorrow, you're being very commanding and bold today!"

Posted

"Farmers, once you're done working on what Sorrow has told you, I want you to collect wood to make ladders, I'd rather avoid climbing through the whole tower if we don't need to."

Posted

"Farmers, once you're done working on what Sorrow has told you, I want you to collect wood to make ladders, I'd rather avoid climbing through the whole tower if we don't need to."

farmer.png

"How tall would you like the ladders? The only windows large enough for someone to climb through is the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stories. The larger the ladders, the more wood will be needed, and it could potentially be unstable and hard to move."

"Lycan, we have your honey and water, we can't find oil."

Posted

"What about fruit? Could we crush the fruit and turn it into a purée? We should then mix them together. It

Should then become a Napalm like substance. We would then pour a mead into it to make it burn more. I would also suggest finding a large rock and using sap to glue it to some wood. It would be a battering ram of sorts. "

"I too thought we needed a battery ram. But I'm on a phone lack the energy to draw it now."

TheBoyWonder- Nice! Keep these ideas coming!

QM Note: Endgame, you could recruit the weapons tent guard, but he'll be just another guard. He'll provide nothing extra.

One farmer goes off to repair the shields and spikes. (Stats coming soon.) Two manhandle a ladder. (Flare, please specify what window you are going to breach.) Then the last farmer easily handles a ram on wheels. Lycan, you make a Fruit Bomb.

farmer.png

"Aha! We got this. Though if you want more siege equipment, you'll need more farmers. What's the plan?"

fruitnapalm.png Fruit Bomb- Causes 4 damage, and the *Poisoned* effect for 3 turns.

ram.png Ram- bursts down the entrance to the first floor. Requires 1 farmer or hero.

ladder.jpg Breaches the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd story windows. Requires 2 farmers or heroes.

The farmers left the outer trees stand, so you still have cover. It's 4:30.

"Hrm. I suppose I'll recruit 3 more farmers. Could you fellows make a basic catapult, using the gathered helmet as a bucket the ammo is loaded in? I could buy some bombs and you could find some stones to load it with."

"I'd like to use the ladder to enter the highest window. My plan is that us three and maybe a couple guards climb up to the 3rd window and make our way up to the top of the tower, while we make a large distraction on the ground level with the rest of our forces."

How about a counterweight catapult? Here, I'll explain. Cut some trees up for wood. Make two cylinders, that are hollow, but have a base, much like a barrel. Then attach these to a piece of wood. The piece of wood would be attached with robe of string to a bar, therefore stopping the barrel to tip off. That would be attached to two large triangles made of wooden bars. This would fire something from one barrel when a heavier weight is placed in the other, like a scale.

"You're on a roll, Lycan!

Make atleast 2 or 3 of those, please. I nearly have a siege plan devised. All we have to do after the catapults are made his to purchase some ammo."
