Hi there everyone. This is a Roman Ballista made by technic elements for a local competition in TurkLUG. Not much about to say about :) Hope you like it.

Soft axles aren't the way to go, they are way too soft as you have noticed. You could try regular axles instead, working like torsion bars. Tension would be much higher and you would have to reinforce the whole thing well, but I'm sure it would shoot better.

Indeed regular axles would work better. But I tried to copy what Romans did in real. They used ropes(?) to create tension power in their ballistas. Soft axles were the nearest choise I have in my inventory. The idea was to copy and demonstrate how the weapon worked not actually use it :P Thanks for your opinion :)

Well it fires NXT spheres mostly, to a few feets away. And thanks! :)
