CM4Sci Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 (edited) I just watched Spider-Man 3 last night, and I decided to make two sets from that movie. This is one of them, the final scene in the movie where Venom, New Goblin, Spidey, and Sandman fight to the death! 210 pieces and has 5 minifigures: Spider-Man (no mask), New Goblin with no mask and grenade face, Venom, Sandman with axe arm, and Mary Jane in her waitress outfit. The only features in the set are: Sandman comes with a big sand catapult (badly built >.>), you can pull a trapdoor on someone, and you can rotate the crane. It took me about an hour to make... It's not the best, but it was really fun to build. This'd be about 40$, although there's only 200 pieces, but it's pretty big. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated! EDIT: Added poll! Choose which set you want me to make next! -Sci Edited December 17, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
purpleparadox Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Pretty sweet design! I just saw this scene on TV the other day (just this scene, not the rest of the movie), and it looks really accurate! I would definitely buy this if it were a set. ALSO: Which to make next? A $50 worth Doc Ock Bank Robbery or a $30 Sandman Bank Robbery? Personally I'd rather see the Sandman one because he's a slightly less known villian. Quote
LMB10 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 That's really nice! Miles ahead of anything I can do in LDD. Reminds me a lot of the SM3 Final Battle Mega Bloks set. I'd prefer to see Doc Ock next. Nice work! Quote
GuntherThePenguin Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I really love this! Especially that Sandman arm is very clever. I would recommend perhaps a damaged Taxi cab in the set as well, as there was a 'super dramatic' moment in the final battle where the Taxi nearly crushed Mary Jane (Correct? Or am I making this up? ) But yes, this a great MOC. And I would love to see the Sandman set! Great work! Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Great MOC, I really like the catapult for the sandman. Quote
Aether Fox Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 All of your Spiderman scenes are turning out great, but this is by far the best! This one has some really neat details like the catapult, the cage for Venom, and the glider. Personally, I'd like to see the Sandman next! Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 Sorry to do this, but can a mod make a poll asking which I should do next? I can PM the list of sets wanted on the poll.. PM me.. -Sci Quote

Vindicare Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Great build. I would buy it. It looks like a fun build and certainly would be playable for the kids(or home alone AFOLs ). Quote
The Blue Brick Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 This does look like fun. I like how there is multiple levels so you can have lots of jumping and falling action when playing. The design is great too. Quote
lego_legis_legere Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Nice M.O.C. ! My favorite part is the yellow crane : the design is very cool. Keep bricking on ! Quote
Climperoonie Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I love this project! I was disappointed by Spider-Man 3 but just as much so by the fact Lego lost the rights so I never got to recreate the film to my own liking So it's great to see you're making sets for that film as part of these awesome recreations Quote
just2good Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Your on a role with these Spider-Man sets, Sci! You should really put this on Cuusoo since it's an original. TLG might not make it due to licensing, but it's worth a try. Quote
