DLuders Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 On his Brickshelf gallery, bonesiii posted pictures of 23 Lego Musical Instruments. Click on the first image below to enlarge it, so that you can see them in more detail. His Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf Building Instructions file has all of them together, so that you can form your own musical band! Quote
Aanchir Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Very nice! Bonesiii's a great guy; I know him from BZPower (a former BIONICLE fansite, now a general LEGO fansite with an emphasis on constraction themes). However, if I had seen these models before I certainly didn't remember them. The tuba is probably my favorite. Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Those are certainly impressive. Too bad a lot of them can't be made with real bricks. Quote
purpleparadox Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 These are amazing! I should explore the LDD forum more often. These really intrigue me because music is my main hobby along with Lego. I can't wait to play with the .lxf file, especially to look at that bassoon closer up! (Bassoon is one of the instruments I play IRL.) Quote
Superkalle Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Good find Dluders. The only thing I could note is that most of the colors are not available in physcal bricks. But there are some pretty nice techniques used Quote
Palathadric Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Awesome ideas. These instruments look fantastic! Quote
