Figured I would post some pictures of my latest project. I started making the frame. Then added the flatbed part. I noticed how easy the flatbed part is removeable, so I also made the ramp removeable. Then just added 6 stake sets and use it for logs to go with the 9397 Log Truck.

I apologize for the crappy pics. I'm on the road with only my phone for a camara.

The flatbed is missing 3 of the 5 x 11 panels on the right side. They are waiting at home as well.

So, consider these pics just a teaser until I get home. haha.

Looks good so far! What will it be attached to?

tim

First is the 9397 Log Truck. I plan to remove the stakes and install a fifth wheel. I also want to incorporate the 8258 Crane Truck's folding crane arm for foldability and longer reach to load the trailer.

I also have the 9397 Red Daycab Truck to pull either version of the trailer.

Are those tires off a 5571 Giant Truck?

Yes they are the same part number rim and tire. 5571 Was one truck I wish I bought when it came out. Now it's out of my budjet.

Nice trailer.:sweet:

Thanks. Not as nice as Hans or 2Legoornot2Lego, but my mocs are more for function than aesthetics. Hoping it will support the bulldozer and excavator. We'll see.

Like the folding ramps

Thanks. I have been racking my brain on how to get the geometry right. Then this last time, it just fell into place as if I knew what I was doing. I'll take closer pics so if anyone is like me and wanted this type of ramp on their project.
