The party, satisfied with the turnout from the hall, presses forward. they find themselves in another, this time smaller, foyer.

"What is that contraption on the left?" I look at it closely.

"Can you rogues actually pick locks or is that just a tale of fantasies?"

Monk pretzel examines the contraption, only to see it is some sort of venus flytrap.

The green fellow seems content with watching you curiously from his little pot of dirt.

The chest lid reufses to budge, shut tight. You attempt conversing with the flytrap, but it doesn't understand you.

Trying to go the brute force method again, you smash the chest with your sword - and fail. Upon further examination, the chest is actually made of bronze.

The left door is sealed tight - you'll need a key.

Daxus opens the door and leads the party through. They're taken into an empty hallway with patches of moss and vegetation sprouting, emitting an odd and unsettling smell. there is a bend in the hallway up ahead. Around the corner they can hear metal clanging and an odd shuffling noise. Neither sound human.

Will the party prepare?

Don't bother wasting your strength on trying to open that chest, it obviously won't open, I also wouldn't be too quick to draw anything on the chest in the other room. We can always come back later, right? Once the devilish proggs are defeated we can take as much time as necessary puzzling over these things. Erik and Mizuki, do you have anything to prepare before we enter the room?"
