Hammerstein NWC Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Captain Quentin Horatio is piloting a Navigator class Turbine Sail, although primarily a short range reconnaissance vehicle it can be launched directly from one of the Queen's Zeppelins to check out enemy targets or clear landing zones of enemy personnel with it's two wing mounted Lewis-Hamilton guns. DraikNova Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Epicness. First glider mech I have ever seen. Are those Brickforge pauldrons? Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 More pictures would be great From what I can see though it looks great I think that is the first time I have seen Major Quinton Steele's face used in a MOC. The buckets/pots stacked in each other is also a cool detail Quote
Hammerstein NWC Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 (edited) Thanks Yes they are brickforge pauldrons. :) Also used crazy arms to get the right grip on the controls! This was prety much a table scrap so I only took one more picture. Took the pictures lying down in my garden and edited out the flying stand in paint :). Edited June 23, 2012 by Hammerstein NWC Quote
DarthNick Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Looks like a fun little build. Nice presentation as well! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Absolutely delightful. Great parts usage all around - creating a really unique glider... The exhausts you used in particular are fantastic. Though I'm not overly sold on the perl gold axes... they seem a bit ... over the top None the less -awesome little build. Quote
Hammerstein NWC Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Thanks All for the kind words! I'm glad people like it! AXES - They are supposed to be rudders rather than axes - I should have mentioned in the description. :) Edited June 28, 2012 by Hammerstein NWC Quote
Bricknave Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 To me, this looks like a great combination of an airship with a hardsuit. I also like how the brown elements in this MOC seem to represent both metal and wood. Quote
Dharkan Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Well creation is good but in my opinion idea is not. How steampunk a glider can be anyway. Quote
