Hey all! I just finished my latest mystery MOC, and I wanted to make a handheld RC-style PF controller for the PF remote. Do you know anybody that has made one before, possibly with instructions?

Simple version:

Thanks for this, very simple and does the job, anyone know of a design for a traditional forward back left right stick type remote?

I think has the type of remote you mean. As far as I know of, the original desing comes from someone called Jason Railton. I just tweaked his design.

sort of, but rather than one stick I mean 2. so the stick on the left moves up and down and operates forward and reverse. The stick on the right moves left and right for left and right.

I am looking for a remote that has a finger trigger in one hand, you hold it like a pistol grip controller and you steer it with a wheel...

I was wondering if anybody else had a different design of that controller. Vlmn8r's control looks great! It's just that I don't have 2 more of the curved panels for the handle

You should be able to reverse-engineer miron89's "PF Pistol Remote Controller" from the few photos on his Brickshelf gallery. They are too big to post here on Eurobricks.

Littlehorn has also made a Lego "Power Functions Pistol Remote Controller" that you could emulate (Brickshelf gallery.

denis-franc has step-by-step Building Instructions on his Brickshelf gallery for a PFS Remote Control.
