Here is my first try at a small medieval ship/boat.

It is pretty simple, but I think it works pretty well. The rudder and sail are both moveable.

First, that water is lovely!

For a fisherman ship, it's pretty nice! :classic: Though it seems to small for a merchant or war ship. I would love to see a fleet of these in a harbor.

Thanks :classic: It is pretty small, but I didn't have to many pieces to work with.

It is also nice to see brick built sails. It looks like a nice, sleek small craft.

Thank you :classic: , the sail was the trickiest part, there is a slight bend in it though it is hard to see in the pictures.

Very nice ! Maybe you can add some rope? It will look better I think. Do you also tried to make custom sails? It is a simple way to improve a set, without many pieces (I know your problem, I don't have many pieces too...)

Rope is a very good idea  I'm not sure what you mean by custom sails, fabric or brick?

Actually, I was thinking about fabric sails, as you can see many of them on the Pirates forum : I use a paper perforator (sorry, but I even don't know the French for that kind of office tool) to make perfect circular holes.
