twinsen's Autovalve

Hello fellow builders,

I was looking on brickshelf and I saw User "twinsen"'s design for a rather compact autovalve, powered by a m motor. Here are some pictures:

It is certainly a very interesting design. I am still not entirely sure how it works.

It looks a very clever design, besides we can only check if it works properly by reproducing it, as we don't have a video to look at.

As far as I can see it is a continuous pump system, that supplies air into one of the two valve outputs, depending on the direction the motor rotates.

Very interesting the mechanism to push the valve lever, from one and the other side, as one switches the motor direction.

The concept is based on an idea from alban. I have already tested a similar design, it works well but uses friction ( blue pin).For this reason, I prefer Sariel's one :)

It's great to some one else try to make a good auto valve.

I do like the design,but i like my own one better as it give to control over were the ram stops.
