HI

So I am kind of new to digital lego design and am looking for a better piece of design software than LDD. I was looking at LDraw and brick smith. I downloaded Brick smith but am finding it kind of hard to use and was having issues downloading LDraw on my computer. I am running on a Mac book pro with OS Lion.

I have found that LDD only allows you to rotate the bricks in 6 directions. left, right, forward, back, up and down. But if you are trying to do a spiral staircase you can't. And I also noticed that LDD is missing quiet a few bricks.

If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them

Thank you

SR 3D Builder all the way! Seriously, it's the way to go.

I agree, I use SR3D 90% of the time, with occasional forays into MLCAD (and even Excel and Notepad) for the times when I need to do things like set specific angles or positions etc. or do bulk modifications.

I don't think SR3D works on a MAc, though.
