soccerkid6 Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Finally someone is doing it in white Some SNOT tiles (check out Derfel Cadarn's guide for example) would help add detail to the wall. Looking good so far Quote

Looking good so far Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely add some SNOT, it would make the wall look more three dimensional and help with the detailing. Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Really cool MOC, though it doesn't appear to be at scale. Quote
SheepEater Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 It's a licensed theme - the minifigs have to be fleshies! . . . . . . . . just kidding. Great start. If you plan to do the whole city, it's gonna be humongously huge at that scale. Quote
Legopard Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Nice beginning of this stunning castle. The battlement could be a bit bigger. A good result may be expected. Quote
HawkLord Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 That's a great start, man. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread. Quote
Reekardoo Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Yep! This sounds promising and correct usage of colours since this is to be the "White City" of Minas Tirith. Quote
Haltiamieli Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Yep! This sounds promising and correct usage of colours since this is to be the "White City" of Minas Tirith. Though actually according to the book the outer wall of Minas Tirith, unlike the inner walls up the hill, was made of a dark substance like Orthanc, Saruman's tower. This detail was not carried to the design used in the movies. Quote
Captain Settle Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Someones done it in white at last! I like how you've got some grey mixed in, but some SNOT would be nice. But so far it seems very promising. Quote
