ACPin Posted June 24, 2012 Author Posted June 24, 2012 The elves go marching two by two, hurrah! Nice. Do you think you will ignore SW for a while to work on more fantasy type stuff? Or is SW still number one? SW will always be number one, but I'm always going to build other themes from time to time. Still in the planning stages to utilize the Roman legion! AC Quote
Deathleech Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 That looks awesome! I originally wasn't going to get any of the Elves because they are yellow while the rest of the LotR line is the more realistic "flesh color", but this almost makes me reconsider... if only they were still readily available Quote
Legonardo Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Didn't you go out and look for them when they were issued? the one time I found them I was broke Quote
Captain Settle Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 All those elves must have cost a lot of money, but it was worth it for the coolness of that scene. Quote

All those elves must have cost a lot of money, but it was worth it for the coolness of that scene. Planning to do a couple more before they get traded away! 34 x $2.99= $101.66... if he got them all at MSRP. All of the CMFs that I got were bought at MSRP. AC Quote

ACPin Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 You must have spent a long time feeling the bags then! Spartans were done using the barcode. Samurais, elves, musketeers, gladiators and Romans though touch and feel. Got really good at it as I was able to get through a box in less than half an hour since I was looking only for specific minifigs. Lucky enough to find stores that had four boxes or more each trip as long as I kept everything neat. In fact, I became such a regular customer that the store staff actually handed the boxes to me when I came. AC Quote
