Palathadric Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Now, I just need to find the time to read through the scum writeboard. I was fairly pleased with my performance. At least it was much better than Bedtime Story. I think I was a bit too random in my accusations though and didn't really fix on a specific target. I was pretty convinced of Tammo's scuminity after the lynching of Euna, but oddly enough, I somehow misinterpreted R2's PMs or something, and understood that R2 was becoming more sure that Tammo was a jedi. Because I trusted R2 enormously, I followed along. What surprised me in some ways was that all the scum were quite frequently on my radar. And theboywonder was my top suspicion for SK apart from Flare. Sorry, Flare, I read a bit too much into your PMs to me and when you started joking around so much I thought maybe you were trying to avoid suspicion, especially after you seemed very panicked when I first got into contact with you. I should have trusted you more. We really should have gotten our act together better on Day 5, especially since quite a few of us had, at least somewhat, caught on to Tammo. The problem was, I think, that all of us were too suspicious of each other. I would like to say that it was a pleasure playing with you all. I would very much like to commend the sith, whether purposefully or not, for having always managed to kill the right jedi's or rather the one's who seemed to be "on them" the most. At least on the last few nights it seemed like you chose your kills well. I really need to read the scum writeboard. I had some other things to say, but I've forgotten what they were right now. It's rather late.

Masked Builder Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 As a host, that's a general no-no. No matter how flailing a team is, on either side, you shouldn't "help" one side mid-game. If you realized the original balance was off, you could tweak something slightly. But in this case, I don't think that was what happened. It seemed that scum simply had an unlucky first few days. That should be their burden to deal with. In my opinion Yes I realized that after I made the decision, but I didn't want to go back on it. I agree with everything you said there though.
Peanuts Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 If it wasn’t for Tammo the Sith would have been dead by day 3 . It sure was fun watching Tammo destroy the town from the inside, may I ask why almost everyone revealed their roles to him by day 2? He had pushed for the lynch of Nightshroud, which is why I thought him to be trustable. And as a PR, you have to work together with other players in order to coordinate your night actions, so you have to trust someone, so why not the guy who just helped you a lot at killing a Sith?

That's a valid point, but day 1/2 still seems rather early to be giving out any sensitve information, but maybe that is just due to hindsight.
Tamamono Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I started contemplating it when the scum started going down hill, then when they asked, I didn't realize they were joking, I said yes. Oh, Masked! I was hoping something like that wouldn't happen! While I greatly appreciate how generous you were with us, you really shouldn't meddle with the game just because one side's being dominated. Next time, I guess... I think he had also told me about all the other PR, including a Vouyer and Role Cop on Day 2, so when Day 6 came along I had no reason to doubt those roles existed. I was actually in communication with the scum and didn't even know it on the last few days. This was one of my favorite parts - having you contact MacK (the voyeur) and Sisco (the role cop). I was afraid you'd find them out earlier because of how perfectly everything fit together (them clearing one another), but luckily you didn't. Oh and Tammo I think you overused the head banging emote, which I believe someone called you out for because it was suspicious. In fact, I don't understand why you didn't get lycnhed for it because every day at the beginning you'd post the same doo-daa about so and so lying, or not being Sith, then repeatedly slam your head into a brick wall. :wall: :wall: :wall: Yeh, I overused that a bit. I remember in Belville I was called out by Rufus for doing the same, and I was town, so I figured I'd just give a similar response to the one I gave then.
Palathadric Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Finally managed to read the scum writeboard. We all really should have been more aware of your foul tricks, seeing as all of you were serious targets on Day 1, besides Tammo of course, but he wasn't scum then.
