Si-MOCs Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Joker - Full of Hot air by Si-MOCs, on Flickr "Where does he get all those wonderful TOYS?" After seeing all of Batman's assortment of awesomeness, the Joker decided to get his own ride. Times being tough, he opted for a discarded blimp.... -- After building the BAT-Rotor: , I knew I would eventually need something to display with it at Brickworld... (I hope there isn't a wings of inJustice contest...) Quote

soccerkid6 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Well done on the shaping of the blimp, and the face on the side is great The cabin is neat too Quote
JackJonespaw Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Ooh, nice colors and shape! I can see the Joker riding this around! I really like the giant Joker on the side! Can you take a picture of the two ships together? Quote
Si-MOCs Posted June 12, 2012 Author Posted June 12, 2012 Thanks for all the great comments everyone!, I must admit I did have a lot of fun building the face - though at first I was just going to do a big J or something. eww. @LT - Oh something tells me Joker has better tastes in music than Batman.... but I'll leave it up to the viewer's decision on what is being played :P @Penguin - I've never seen that! Awww and here I was thinking I was so clever coming up with a blimp with his face on the side. Heh I guess it did seem appropriate / obvious :P @K-Nut - Wow! High praise! Thanks so much. @Jack - I'll take one at Brickworld... these are actually um... quite big, and it's hard to photograph both together Quote
The Penguin Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) @Penguin - I've never seen that! Awww and here I was thinking I was so clever coming up with a blimp with his face on the side. Heh I guess it did seem appropriate / obvious :P Indeed. However, again, you did a great job! I'd love to see my blimp chase that one! Fascinating race! Only 3,5 hours though! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited June 12, 2012 by The Penguin Quote
The Joker1 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 HAHAHAHAH Brilliant simply brilliant. I am completely in love with my new ride. Should allow me to make my escape from batsy in style. Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Really cool, I loved the colors you used. Quote
TheLegoJoker Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Nicely done. As already noted, the color scheme is great. Quote
prateek Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 So much better than the official helicopter! I would pay money for this! The colours are great, and great job with the face! Quote
Vindicare Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 That's a beautiful brick built blimp! You captured the shape quite well. The Joker face is cool, complete with bow tie. One thing though, the color scheme seems more fitting for Two-Face. The orange should be green. Love the blimp either way. Fitting foe for the fantastic flying Bat Rotor. Quote
MattZitron Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 This is insanely cool. I'd buy this set. PLEASE release a parts list so we can all make one! Quote
ChizelChats Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Okay, 1. HOW IS THIS NOT A REAL LEGO SET?! ITS FRICKEN AMAZING!! 2.How do you connect the panels for the jokers face? It's been puzzling me since I saw it. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Wow, I love the 360 building and the inclusion of his bow tie at the bottom! I like the use of the Knight Bus windows too, great job! Quote

gamejutzu Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 How do you connect the panels for the jokers face? It's been puzzling me since I saw it. There's always work going on behind the scenes. He might have even used glue. Joking. This is an awesome build SI. You should put in on Ideas. Quote
KlodsBrik Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 For a moment i thought it was Captain Nemo trying to escape it or get aboard Lovely build indeed! Quite special style to it. Quote
Panthro Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Okay, 1. HOW IS THIS NOT A REAL LEGO SET?! ITS FRICKEN AMAZING!! 2.How do you connect the panels for the jokers face? It's been puzzling me since I saw it. This. Quote
Brickadier General Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Sweet build, Simon. I love the "chunkiness" of it. A blimp for the joker is a good fit, considering the time period in which "Batman Begins." Quote
