Actually, Hasbro took the Fighter Pods design from the popular Squinkie toys that are out right now.

Really, neither Fighter Pods nor Squinkies can be looked at as an idea taken from Lego. Fighter Pods are non-poseable figures that exists in a game environment. Lego minifigures are poseable figures that exist in a construction block building environment. Collectible, small figures have always been around.

They're not a clone of Legos, but they aren't entirely original. We've seen Galactic Heroes, Squinkies, Crazy Bones, Go-Go's Crazy bones, various 25 cent toys( which ware now like a dollar :hmpf_bad:), M.U.S.C.L.E.S,......the list goes on :wacko:

Exactly how did they get this from LEGO? :wacko: The only similarities I see is that they're both small figures and they'r both Star Wars. :sceptic:

I also thought that,Until I figured out that pegs vary on the bottom of the figures,and that mid-sized figures fit on studs!!*oh2*
