Thormanil revives Elgar with a Phoenix Essence. As the ranger regains his senses, Thormanil sends healing energy Bravo's way. The spell jolts the orc and he once again regains control of his mind. He swiftly attacks one of the mage sisters. Elgar clears his vision and quickly tends to Knifk. The knight's eyes pop open and he rages at the first enemy he sees. With his mind clouded, Ad-Hoh can not recall the incantation for a strong bolt of darkness so shoots a weaker one. Echo rises and his tentacles wriggle around as his empty eyes glow brightly. Hypnotized, Arasmyth and the zealot slowly make their way to the spirit, ignoring the fight around them. They wake for a moment and are shocked to see they are standing side by side. Before either can attack, their bodies turn to stone. Mini duels break out but the heroes are immune to any physical hits.

The Wraith flies high and wails as it sucks 3 ether from the heroes.

The Party is in good shape despite their leader's predicament. The battle continues.

Trickster's Masks can be donned/removed in the same turn as your normal action. Currently two characters are wearing a mask: Thorm(Gender-Human) and 'Smyth(Gender-Elf)

QM Note: The Maa'ri will join the fight at round 10...if you live that long.

Singerson does some pelvic thrusts and dances around. Knifk's relentless assault keeps his target from casting any spells. Thormanil the Merciful releases Bravo from his confinement on this plane then quickly sets to work on freeing Alpha. T'wan Ti begins a lengthy incantation in the hopes of saving her sister from the orc brute. Elgar dumps his remedy on the Arasmyth statue. The mage fires a spell that must have been meant for the zealot before they were petrified because he hits nothing. T'wan Ti finishes her spell and a giant ball of light drops on Hoh's head. Its brilliance blinds Hoh, Thorm and Elgar.

Once again the Wraith flies high and wails but this time it sucks 4 ether from the heroes.

With their mages out of ether, their vision obscured and their physical immunity fading, the Party needs to make the next round count. The battle continues.

All players lose 5 ether from Wraith's drain

Singerson sings a song. Knifk presses his target again but this time scores an even bigger hit. Thormana conducts a blood ritual but the Archivist is immune to clerical spells. Nihai drinks some medicine to restore ether. Arasmyth tries to continue with his spell casting but finds he's out of ether. He shrugs and swings his stick at the ghost instead. Ad-Hoh cracks open an ether core and lets the effervescent contents restore his ether in full. With eyes too blurred to fire a bolt, Elgar grabs a potion, pulls out the cork with his teeth and blindly throws it at Echo.

The Archivist tries to attack Knifk but only ends up getting damaged himself. The wraith and Alpha are not able to penetrate Singerson's song. The Paladin smiles as he pelts his teammate. She grins as well then hits Elgar. Maybe there's some sort of sick relationship between those two...T'wan Ti comes to the aid of her sister and nails Knifk with a bolt of magic. Thanks to Singerson's song, the blast is amplified. Knifk drops his sword and shield then drops to his knees. After a brief silence, T'wan Ti slowly approaches and pokes him. "Is it dead?" Suddenly the sand green brute lashes out with his fist landing directly under the mage's chin. He collapses but not before sending the woman flying.

Once again the Wraith flies high and wails but this time it sucks 5 ether from the heroes.

The Party's immunity is gone for good. What ever are they going to do? The battle continues.

Singerson sings a song. Thormana heals Ad-Hoh then charges Echo from the front row. Her lightning enhanced totem would have done an amazing amount of damage but it's hard to concentrate with Singerson's squawking. Just what language is he singing in, Rito-eese? Arasmyth guzzles a grand tonic while Elgar fires three bolts. With his reduced mental capability, his shots don't do their normal damage. He does manage to bring T'wan close to death. Enraged, her sister mage brings down the light on Hoh and blinds those standing next to him.

The Archivist sees an opening and clocks Nihai before standing aside looking smug. The Wraith swipes at Arasmyth as Alpha goes for Ad-Hoh. The hexed paladin sets his sights on T'wan Ti and knocks her out.

The Wraith flies high and wails as it sucks 6 ether from the heroes.

Only a couple of rounds left before backup arrives. Can the heroes hold out? And will the orcs be enough to win this battle?

"Crunch time, no more foolin' around. These will be the last heals we see for awhile, so keep yer potions ready!"

Thormanil heals Arasmyth and himself from the back row.

"We've got 3 hits coming our way, so ya might as well brace yerselves, too. Elgar, I need you on that Wraith. He'll hit the rest of us for extra damage. Arasmyth, Ad-hoh, split your casts between Echo and that last mage. Elgar and Ad-hoh should take the lead this round, I'll follow them and then Arasmyth can bring up the rear. That'll help spread the damage out."

"Honestly, I'd rather ya saved yer potion for when I'm outta ether. Plus, that potion'll only heal me half as much as I can heal myself, long as I don't bugger up the ritual. Even if ya can't do real damage, denyin' them a free hit is what's important."

"Of course, it seems I spoke without thinkin' it all through. Use yer potion on Arasmyth instead. Using my Wyvern's Tailblade, I'll heal myself, and the Wraith, from the back row."
