Making up for his rude behaviour, Ad-Hoh displays a bit of darkness magic for the instructor. Teacher's pet...Nihai drinks his juice to enhance his learnin' ability. Arasmyth suddenly bursts with water magic. Maybe his nerves got the best of him. Ever the brown noser, Hoh demonstrates the proper way to deal with the negative status effect. The Trainer decides to teach a lesson with blunt weapons(again). Either the mages are lucky or Akkaba knows who needs the extra instruction. It must be Singerson's music or the Trainer has developed a soft spot for this set of "recruits" because he decides not to demonstrate ON his students. The Trainer does gets a little over zealous and ends up hurting himself. Maybe he should have stretched first. Everyone but Hoh takes damage from the poison as they feel the pull to attack from the front row. - "Sometimes you gotta take one for the team! First in, last out! Frontline Fodder!" Jebediahs Posted August 17, 2012 Author Posted August 17, 2012 The Maa'ri follow Hound towards the sewers. They see Jules dart in and an Akkaban patrol approaching her position. "We must do something!" Ranger holds her back. "No, there is another way." With a stern look on his face, Ranger gazes at his mutt for a few seconds. Hound takes off running. He stops in front of the patrol. He hits them with the puppy dog eyes. The patrol stops in their tracks and they pet the the tail-wagging dog. Hound has effectively distracted the patrol. Not to be outdone by anyone, Ad-Hoh once again shows off his magical ability. The Trainer goes through a sword routine. Thormana and Knifk quickly absorb the instruction. The jinxy juice may enhance weapon training but it doesn't do much for Thorm's healing ability. The Trainer asks Arasmyth to blow some wind to cool everyone down during the intense training session. The Trainer continues his lesson with the sword before grabbing a training mace. Fed up with the attention his comrades are getting, Elgar demands for a ranged weapon demonstration. The Trainer grins and takes up a crossbow. Elgar shows his gratitude by putting one into the Trainer who laughs. In his mirth he drops the xbow on his foot. The heroes feel a bit nauseous from being sped up. All magic users feel themselves unable to cast spells. Hexes a random enemy for three rounds. “See the face of Akkaba, see his true visage...” Shameful Secrets - This song reminds all combatants of a shameful secret they hold (like hitting a boy in the head in the sewer) . 50% chance heroes have their level halved for one round and 50% chance enemies have their level halved for one round. “Let your secrets out I say! Let them see the light of day!” Sewer Slide - It seems that Singerson might have entered through the sewers as well. All heroes are hastened but also poisoned for one round. “Sliding down the sewer luge is fun...but dirty.” Bridge Guardian - A familiar song about a giggling guardian. All enemies are magically burned for 5 damage regardless of SP. “Giggle giggle giggle, all she does is giggle as you fall in a pit and are burned for a bit” Righteous Reverb - The song reverberates off the walls, vibrating the heroes. All heroes get the immune to physical damage effect (physical based free hits included) for three rounds but take double damage from magic based attacks (magical based free hits included). "Caaanaaanaaan yoooouuuuuuuu feeeeeeeeeeeeelllll theeeeeeeeeeeeeee viiiiiiiiibrrrrrraaaaaaatiiioooooooonnnnnsssssssss?!" Party Leader, choose the order of actions. Also choose the song Singerson will sing. It will take effect before the round begins. Knifk, state if you want to sacrifice any additional health for your attacks. All of you, choose your targets and the Row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee, heal, or cast a magic spell, or if you want to use an item instead of attacking. Check your stats. Quote
