So people, as I get the chance to play with some cool sensors. Is it worth me posting them up here?

Should I make a single topic and keep adding new reviews to it or a new topic per sensor?

I thought I would ask the question as I don't want people thinking that I am being paid to promote stuff etc. (which I am not)

I'd definitely be interested in reading them. I'm saving up to get a Mindstorms set at the moment, and I know full well I'll be wanting to branch out and try other sensors than the ones in the set. It's be very useful indeed to know which ones are worth looking at.

I'd like to see a review of the HiTechnic IR Link sensor. I'm curious to see what other people think of it, since my experiences with it show it to be less than good.

I think that the IRlink is still the best way to combine NXT and PF. I have used this sensore quite often and never had problems. Only, you need to keep in mind that there is a delay because it is still infrared control.

I have used the HiTechnic IRLink a lot, George has one and yes there is a little bit of a delay but works well. However maybe I should review it against the Mindsensors PFMate which I have just received and I believe is cheaper. :)
