Legonardo Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) Here is a crummy WIP picture of a trade cog for the Commerce challenge by Soccerkid C&C wanted =Legonardo= Edited June 4, 2012 by Legonardo Davidy Quote
Zach Mills Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I really like the actual build so far, but I'm not so sure on the sail. I've never looked into building a boat, but if there is a Purist sail that's about the right size for what your aiming for, I would try and use that instead. If there is no purist option, your custom one works well. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I think the general shape of your boat works well Now you just need to add lots of details and some figs to the deck Quote
kabel Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) looking pretty good there. I'd say stay with the costum sail, it's become sort of a standard in the pirate forum to do sail like this. It'd also be cool to tile the deck, like I've done with both my ships. Are you also going to add a stern castle? If you need some reference you can also check out my cog Edited June 4, 2012 by kabel Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I think you should give it some color and fantasy styling. Are you going to put this into a larger scene? Quote

If you need some reference you can also check out my cog Tiling a deck is one of those things that I would love to do, I don't have the parts though I will probably add a stern castle I think you should give it some color and fantasy styling. Are you going to put this into a larger scene? Yes once the cog is finished I will put it on so water type base, something like the one on this: Quote
de Gothia Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Very nice indeed! Dont´t know what else to say other than I want details and minifigs on that beauty! Quote
