Peppermint_M Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 The mighty Mountain-Shaker Goat is the largest of the goat family. Bred through careful selection of the largest Boulder-Breaker goats of the highland flocks, these mighty beasts are used for hauling and in less peacful times make fearsome mounts and valued allies in battle. While fierce when fighting they are gentle and caring in a situation read as safe and are intelligent enough to know the difference between rowdy play and attacks. Anyone who can tame a wild Mountain-Shaker is known to be a wily and headstrong warrior, it even takes special herdsmen to raise these giant animals. Soo, I was MOCing and saw some parts and thought "Ideeaaa!" and thus the giant-rideable-goat was born. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 This is great! Especially the pieces used for the horns The whole shaping of the head works nicely, an army of these would be quite intimidating! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 Here is a side on view, more later! Front View Quote
Cecilie Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 That is one big goat! Very cool It looks very good from the side, especially the head is very well done, and is instantly recognizable as a goat head. I think the body is a bit too wide though, maybe the legs would need to be closer together, to make it look more proportionally right? Quote
SheepEater Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 That minifig's face would make a great LOTR Eowyn. From what set does she come from? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 This is cool. It actually reminds me of a Zoid. Well, my second love is Zoids, they overlook my build space, must have influenced the MOC That minifig's face would make a great LOTR Eowyn. From what set does she come from? She's Helena from Pharaoh's Quest, a personal favourite of mine Quote
Big Cam Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I'm not totally fond of the feet/hooves, but besides that I love it. It's very intricate and the head/face is very recognizable, I love the goat goatee. Quote
Darkdragon Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I think this is adorably terrifying, The head is a masterpiece. I think I agree with Cecilie that it might look better from the front if tHe body is 3 wide. Do the legs move at all? It seems like they might, and a pose with one front leg raised would look cool I think. Sorta like the new horse. Quote
WhiteFang Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Love this battle beast of yours, in the 'goatie rendition'. I think it's cool to pit against this baddie Fenir! Quote
Palathadric Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I think this has to be my favourite brick-built beast ever. Quote
