jonwil Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I have uploaded my large collection of photos from our 2012 layout to https://picasaweb.google.com/jfwfreo/2012show (I cant figure out how to deep link Picasa photos) Some of the highlights include: Our massive (but not yet erected) arch bridge (if we manage to get it erected, it will become the largest single span LEGO arch bridge ever made) Open cut mine site Massive Woodside gas drilling platform and LNG tanker Theme Park/Movie Studios All sorts of cars, trucks, buses, UTEs and other vehicles (including no less than 8 Transperth bus models of various sorts) Plenty of trains (including a Transperth A-series train and a Transperth B-series train) City Hospital with ambulances and medivac helicopter Council House (office building for Perth City Council) Nightclub Large space scene including alien internment camp Dinosaurs and cavemen (complete with Flintstones style car) Fairytale Mountain (how many different fairy-tales can you identify in the pictures?) Perth Central Railway station (in proper Minifig scale no less) Functional LEGO-brick QR Code that links to the Perth Adult Lego Society web page If you are in Perth and can get there, the show will be on until 4:30pm tomorrow and 4pm on Monday. Slobey Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Just got back from the show with my kids and enjoyed it a lot! Highlights were the LNG tanker and the mine site Highlight for my girls was Rupunzels tower. Hope you finished the bridge, there still seemed to be quite a way to go this morning. Quote
