tchuk-norst Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 OK, so I've been getting in to Sky-fi lately, I'm really influenced by Jon Hall's stuff on Flickr. I built a plane (which I will be putting up here soon) but I need an environment to go along with it. I have no inspiration for this and I need help. Anything would help! Quote
DraikNova Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Strange, irregular shapes, like domes, overhangs, half-circles and especially buildings which consist out of one basic shape, with several other, similar shapes sticking out of it. That's the sort of buildings I would make for a sci-fi world. Check the basic shape of the HF building. It's extremely sci-fi. Quote
-zenn Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 If you say Sky-Fi, I say Dieselpunk Architecture; i.e. Art Deco or Streamline Moderne. So maybe a skyscraper skyline of some sort, would be doable in micro scale. Check out this site for more. Quote
