In some respects this is a creative use of parts, but there's one thing that bothers me about its appearance. On a real insect, the legs all tend to be attached around the central body segment,and are thus very close together. On this model, the legs are spread out across the entire body, with two coming right out from under the head. The way you have them attached currently, it would be impossible to get them much closer together. But I think it would look a lot more lifelike if you found a new way to attach them. Quote
