I bought some Brickwarriors weapons and armour and decided to see what i could make -

Scenario

The Grand Vizier is an evil tyrant who rules the Desert Kingdom Of Arabia. Having trapped and killed Alladin a 1000 years ago he summoned and enslaved the Djinn (Genie) of the Lamp to do his bidding (and gain infinite wishes). Every 50 years he summons the humans of the Realm from about the world using the magic of his lamp. They fight for his entertainment (and their very survival). He also summons the monsters and demons of the realm to fight them. The Champion wins a lavish prize no human has so far won it though, as the Djinn has never been defeated.

Heroes of the Realm

Ronin, Amazon Fighter, Norse Berzerker, Nomad, Zulu Prince

Monsters of the Dark

Minotaur, Animated Statue, Undead Ogre, Orc chieftain, Locust Queen, the Djinn

That's a nice looking bunch of figures you've assembled, especially that giant undead ogre. I like the custom items from places like BrickWarriors, but they sometimes seem a little out of place with regular LEGO equipment. This is a good solution, make them foreign and exotic. What's that gold piece on the djinn's shoulders? I can't make it out from the picture.

Thanks - I know what you mean I love all the aftermarket stuff, I think some of it actually looks too real at times, the brick warriors stuff seems to be just the right amount of real but still bulky enough to !fit"

The Djinns shoulder pads are modified silver ninjago shoulder armour, I shaved them down and rounded them so they fit better with some green stuff. His Headwrap is also modified if you look closely. I took a layer off the bottom of it so you could see more of the detail on his (standard) body. :)

Wow! This is an excellent idea and a great use of aftermarket parts! I love Brickwarriors stuff, its easily the best quality gear you can buy.

The only thing I dont like is the size of the pics! Can we have some slightly bigger ones or close ups of those fantastic minifigs pleeeeeeeeeeease!

What's the size limit for posting here? Also is it permissable to post just pics of minifigs without actual MOC backdrops? :) sorry for the n00b questions but that's just what I am! I'll add them to this thread later if so.

Wow, what a great background to display figures on! I would also like to see more close up photos of the mini figures please!

I believe the size limit is 800x600.

If you are just posting pics of minifigs then the Minifig Customisation Workshop is the place to do it.

I'd say that if your custom figs are part of a great moc like this one, this forum is the place for it. It can sometimes be a little difficult to know where to put some things. A member of staff will always be able to help and if they think it needs to go in another area of the forum, they will move it to where they think it best suits
