Solscud007 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Please share your bathroom fixtures. Sinks, toilets, vanity mirrors etc. I need inspiration. Thanks Quote
CarsonBrick Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 If you really want some inspiration, just go to Flickr and type in "Lego Bathroom". Quote
gotoAndLego Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 BrickCityDepot, who also post on here, have a huge number for buildings with a variety of bathrooms. Quote
snaillad Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Ive done plenty of bathrooms on my mocs, here's a couple of pics from a moc I made a while ago. Its based in the early 1900's; Here is a close up of the panelled bathtube and how its put together, it fits a fig inside but would probably look much better with 6 white seats Hope this helps! Quote
LEGO Family Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 That bathtube is such a cool technique. I so love it. Sorry for offtopic, just had to mention it. :P Quote
Cara Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 That bathtube is such a cool technique. I so love it. Sorry for offtopic, just had to mention it. :P Yes definitely! Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 30, 2012 Author Posted May 30, 2012 Thank you so much. See this is what I was hoping for. The problem with searching the modular building pics for bathroom fixtures is that people tend to photograph top down view. So it is hard to see all the detail. Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Here's my toilet (didn't think I'd ever type that!): Urinal: Quote
The Blue Brick Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I love those urinals. That bathtub is such a great technique also. Please keep them coming. Quote
The Dutch Guy Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I must say. I loved the bathtube too. Great work there Snaillad. Quote
SDH Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Here's the toilet and urinal I came up with for a MOC I'm planning. The toilet's a riff on a bunch of other designs I've seen. I had some trouble figuring out how to get from the bottom 1x3 plate to a smooth top, then I found the minifig tool which makes it seem like a public bathroom toilet, which ended up being perfect for the project. I'm still not sure if I'm completely satisfied with the urinal, I'd love to see some other people's takes on them. BTW, Parrothead Rasmus I really like your toilet, good classic design.
