Bley Harvest Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 My favorites would be either Jabba's Palace (9516) for the excellent minifigures, or Imperial Shuttle Tyderium (75094) because it was fun to build and looks great on display. Least Favorite is probably Kanan's Speeder Bike (75141) which I mostly just bought for the Kanan minifigure and extra blasters. The bike is so out of proportion that I decided not to even finish building the set. It will probably just end up in my parts bins. Quote
Japanbuilder Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I don't have too many large sets and my SW collection is mostly made of battle packs but of the three major builds I have by far the Resistance Troop Transporter (75140) is my favorite. The build was really enjoyable and the amount of detail and accuracy to the actual model was remarkable to me specially considering the medium with which it was constructed. Despite its lack of screen time there is a lot there on offer both as a transport and a ship. More so than its FO counterpart I find. My least favorite so far is the First Order Battle Pack (75132). While I think the figures are splendid on their own for a "battle" pack the whole of the contents is lacking in the utmost. Only one regular stormy one specialist stormy and two crew who can be gotten in the requisite numbers in other sets. I had to buy so many of these just to round out a squad of stormtroopers that it got ridiculous. The mini cannon/mortar was also meh. If they ever reissue a similar pack I hope it is focused on the troopers that actually do battle and not on the supporting units. Still having said all of that all of my sets together make me happy. So even faulty ones have contributed immensely to my collection and I love looking at my rows and rows of figures and little vehicles. Quote

The build was probably the most enjoyable of all the LSW sets I've built so far. Its only downfall is that it's not the most interesting ship in the galaxy. It definitely does a good job of transporting troops . Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Favorite: 75159. No price increase in my region and I don't have 10188. Least Favorite: StarScavenger. Lousy builds, meh figures. Quote

The Brick King Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Even though Star Wars is my favorite franchise ever, I haven't bought a set in awhile, so my picks are a bit dated. My favorite would have to be 8038 Battle of Endor, as that was the first flagship set I ever received, and it had great mini-figures and loads of playability. I really wish LEGO did more sets like this. Least favorite would probably be the 2011 Sith Infiltrator. The minifgures were all right, and I really liked the redesigned Maul. But the build was terrible, with the lack of the bottom and the way the entire front flapped about. And it was incredibly flimsy. I have this thing where I have to play with my sets, and the set busted more times than I can remember. Hated that thing. Quote
