WetWired Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 So in a bit of a follow up to my first decal thread I've been working on a hairpiece for pete venkman's signature receding hairline. I've got 2 test ones to show at the moment and I need some feedback, which one is better? A or B? "A" I haven't buffed clean\shiny yet like "B" so take that into account. Also I'm open to further changes if one is close but not quite there yet. Quote
ED-209 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Very nice indeed!! I think that the degree of plastic removed in "A" definitely creates the receding hairline look better than "B". A question though, would it be possible to thin down the middle? It looks just a tad too bulbous. I think if it were thinned slightly (and then buffed like the second) it would look perfect! Quote

I certainly can thin it a bit, I know what you mean, it's quite "boofy" at the front there. Quote
WetWired Posted May 28, 2012 Author Posted May 28, 2012 (edited) Crappy phone photos this time but I've made some changes to A, tried to get rid of the bulbous shape and I also shortened the length of the center "tuft" of hair, I buffed it a bit more too, could probably do with a little more though. Hobbestimus Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I think you've got the hair really good. Nice job. It just needs to be paired with a more cocky or smirky face for the classic Murray look. Quote
LuxorV Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Good job so far, WetWired! You're really nailing the customiser job. Could you please reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines? That's make them more accessible and enjoyable for slow connection users too. Thank you. Quote

Yeah I'm working on a new face design for him at the moment, I was hoping a new face alone would be enough but after a lot of time trying out expressions I found it's mainly his hairline that is his signature look. Images resized, sorry about that Quote
WetWired Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Here's a quick and nasty photoshopped version of the face design, feedback welcome and encouraged. Quote
