Arigomi Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 It seems like the designers have been fixated on barbecue grills lately. So far, I've found them in 8403 City House, 5771 Hillside House, 5770 Lighthouse Island, 3315 Olivia's House, 7346 Seaside House, and 850449 Beach Set. Quote
Calanon Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 A lot of those sets are quite beach-styled or very summery, so it makes sense. But they probably are. I wonder why there are some periods where a certain thing appears in so many sets? Quote
tedbeard Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Don't forget the grill on the rooftop patio of the Green Grocer. Quote

Personally I'm waiting for the mobile police comand center with hibachi. Cause all that coffee really gives you the munchies. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Maybe because BBQs are quite common nowadays whereas coffee machines are not so much in fashion? I recall a coffee machine at work up to about ten years ago, then it broke and we got a water machine. Now even that has been removed. All the coffee machines still in office type buildings I know all look old and tacky now and way too unclean for me to risk a coffee from them. As opposed to BBQs which every one of the neighbors seems to light up every day usually just after we have finished putting our washing out to dry, making it stink. Quote

Every place I go they still have them, but they have mainly switched to the single serving pod types like Keurig's. So they look a little different. Quote
