double size LOTR Helm's Deep

i have started expanding but i need to buy more 1x2 bricks. Here is where im at so far after buying 2 sets and combining them.

Nice job so far. I think you should add the smaller wall (and extend it like the Urak-Hai set can do) and see what that looks like. You've fixed my only real gripe with the Helm's Deep set: the very very short walls. While I don't expect 100% accuracy, they seemed almost silly being so short. The curved ramp leading up seemed a bit unneccesary at that scale, but it's starting to make more sense now with what you've got.

Nice, people are modding this set already! Looks very nice, much more formidable. Only thing I will say is that I think you're stretching it in the wrong way; the keep is now far too fat compared to the movie version, if anything the original set should be stretched vertically.

Progress is very expensive lol i went to the lego store to buy 1x2 bricks and they had none! i ended up buying a third set.

I'd increase the hight of the rock base more than the walls.

Great idea! I can't wait to see when it's finished, however like deskp said I'd increase the rocks, and the door on the right should be a little closer to the bridge I think, since Aragorn jumps to it.
