Darkdragon Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I'm working on a large project which calls for figures to represent the boys from the book Lord of the Flies (wiki). This is what I have so far for the four main characters. Please let me know what you think and if you have other near-purist ideas for the characters that might look better. For the two leaders Jack and Ralph, I've put them with their defining items. Ralph has the Conch shell and Jack has his knife and spear. Why near-purist? I had to modify the head for Piggy. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Nice conch shell! This book brings me so many memories... Anyways, I think the figs look great overall. However, they'd probably look more appropiate with short legs, but I understand that it is not possible using a purist approach, or you would lose detail on the legs. It won't be as noticeable if they are not next to an adult fig, though. Quote
Darkdragon Posted May 27, 2012 Author Posted May 27, 2012 Thanks. I think regular legs are ok since it's all children, there are no short yellow legs yet unfortunately. Quote
RPGer Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Ralph looks a little to stern...other than that, they look great. Quote

And yeah, I agree. If you're only going to portray the kids, then you're all right. Regular Lego figs can actually look like children, and yours do. I wasn't aware that there are no short yellow legs yet by the way. Quote
