Hi, my name is Az, I'm very new to the Lego community :) Well, by that I mean I played with it lots as a kid from about 1989 until 1997, then went to high school and pretty much stopped. Now I have a son, I'm collecting sets/figures for him for when he's 4 or 5 years old, so I can give him a huge bag of LEGO like the one I had as a kid, but I may have gone a little over board haha Anyways, that's my story and why I'm here, because the kid I'm buying the bricks for is only 2 atm lol

G'day all :)

Are you six foot four, and full of muscles??!! :)

Welcome! Yes, you've only just started on the slippery slope that is Lego ... but it's a good slope.

Nope, I'm 5ft6 and full of doughnuts. ^_^

Hahah when I was a kid I was REALLY crappy at it, I vaguely remember some instructions but I was far too stupid to be able to read them, so I thought if I start collecting for my son early, I can practice and when he's old enough I can maybe surprise him with cool stuff. But 6 months into this Lego quest, and I'm even worse than I was as a child lolol

Welcome Az

Kiwi in Melbourne also fairly new to the Lego scene. Well back on it after about a 20yr hiatus.

All the best with your instruction reading and Lego building

I’m no mathematician, but I think that’s about only 15 years.

Welcome back though. :sweet:

Haha, ta, I read much better instructions these days , although I do tend to skip pages or steps and confuse myself haha
