The back, Sorry if it is ripped...I was in a hurry to open and get building!!!:tongue:

The Specs

Now, Lets take a look at the contents! (The Mini Crawler Crane was already built)

9391_reveiw_pictures_001.jpg

You can see, it came with two manuals, one to build the Mini Crawler Crane, the other, to build the Mini Tracked Bulldozer.

Now, lets move on to the actual model (A-Model) :classic:

Here are a few basic pictures of it:

As you can see, it has a small beam that you can lift...

As for the B-model, It is not as good as the A-model. I have already built it, and i forgot to take some pictures :sing:

Next, lets go into some of the small details of the set!

9391_reveiw_pictures_010.jpg

AAAWWW! a little cabine! So cute!

9391_reveiw_pictures_023.jpg

The treads roll smoothly on any surface. Not too tight or too loose :sweet:

The small building beam that came with the set... just a lame prop...

Okay! Now lets move onto the Mechanical Features :cry_happy:

First of all, the crane has a pivot point for the body, using the ALL NEW miniature Technic Turntable

More close ups of that!9391_reveiw_pictures_012.jpg

9391_reveiw_pictures_013.jpg

Next, we have the boom raise and lower. It is hand cranked, and it uses a worm-gear-8-tooth gear system for strong, failsafe lifting. It actually moves a beam, which pushes or pulls on the large extening boom! Did I mention the LARGE range of motion???

9391_reveiw_pictures_014.jpg

9391_reveiw_pictures_015.jpg

After that, we have the extendable boom. The exendable boom has a click-lock mechanism on the inside, so the beam does not slide up or down without some decent force applied. Great design Lego!

So, now that we are done with the functions, I would like tho show Y'all the new pieces introduced in this set!

We have the Miniature Turntable

@ 88high: I can see all of your images fine -- thanks for your review. :classic: I don't yet own the Lego 9391 set, so I'm curious to see if it's a "good value" for the parts included. The reviews on Brickset were complimentary too. This Bricklink parts inventory says that this set has 66 of the 3873 "Technic, Link Tread" parts. The Bricklink Average Price for NEW links (sold in the last 6 months) are USD $0.21, so (66 x USD $0.21) = USD $13.86 for the links (about 70% of the total USD $19.99 price you paid for the entire set).

Curious and correct me if I'm wrong, didn't the yellow crane arm come in the 8270 Rough Terrain Crane from 1H2007 also? I don't have that one built right now, maybe this one is shorter than that arm was...
