As a child in the early 80's I remember a series of large hardback books that told the story of the fictional Terran Trade Authority (TTA). My favourite book was Spacecraft 2000-2100 AD which described a range of combat and civilian spacecraft. I recently rediscovered the book and have had a go at building a micro version of one of the ships... The Interstellar Queen.

Described as the world's most advanced spaceliners, the Interstellar Queens were introduced in 2046 to carry passengers to Alpha Centauri. My version tries to recreate the distinctive shape of a "Queen"...

I'm planning on making more ships from the book (probably in micro scale as micro building is a whole new thing for me and I need all the practice I can get!!)

Thanks for looking

Nice work!

It really does look like the queen ship.

Though I've never read the books (or know of the universe) I may have to add that to my read list...

And I agree micro is totally different/fun style - I would recommend everyone to try it once :classic:

I remember the TTA, gosh I was at senior school then and thinking of going to art college. All those images really were a wonder and I was quite hooked on them. I recall a ship in one of the books called the Stellar Cow, (Because it was cow shaped.)and every time I see a cow it reminds me of it. Nice to see someone else bringing those old ships back to life.
