Hi,

I didn't find a topic about stats how long LEGO is selling sets. Sure, most popular sets will last longer but there must be some stats about how long sets will be sold at S@H usually.

Is 3 years some kind of magic timeslot for a product?

Maybe there is a page out there which provides these information?

Does themes like castle, pirates, technic and UCS lasts longer than friends, city in the official LEGO shops?

I think that they have a pre-determined production run; after that, they are on sale untill they run out of stock.

In short: there is really no way to know for sure without exact data regarding production and sales.
