zeki Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Hi! My first LEGO video showing custom motor controlled switch points while 7938 and 10219 drive on a track. This is a first test run of a system. Points are motorised with a small 9V motor and powered by a battery. I hope i will be able to expand the system and control up to 8 points at the same time. C&C Welcome! I can see the same thing. But no points moving. So you guys think the trains are just randomly deciding when to go right or straight on the point/switch track? I saw no hands moving the switch so it must have been remotely controlled. Maybe I've got a breakdown of logic here. Sure, there are no close ups of the moterized switching going on. There have been other threads recently where people have put forward ideas for remote switching so a close up of the mechanism would allow people to compare your approach with the other approaches used so far.
