Puck Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 (edited) Hey guys! I had made this back before they came out with the actual one. I printed the logo on some construction paper and taped it on. I really hope that you guys like it and would appreciate positive and negative feedback. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Puck/DW/img_1278.jpg Superman front view http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Puck/DW/img_1280.jpg Superman side view http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Puck/DW/img_1281.jpg Superman and Batman Thank you! -Puck :) Edited May 19, 2012 by LuxorV Converted huge deeplinked pictures to links Quote
Lego_Hero Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) Since no one is replying with input, on the off-chance this is a serious post, I'll weigh in. On a positive note, your pictures are quite clear, so there's that. I'm surprised a moderator hasn't addressed the size of the photos. You should resize to 600x800 so people can see the whole picture at once. There's a tutorial on this forum. You've made a nice choice for Superman's face and hair. He definitely has a heroic look. The torso decal, however, needs some work. I sometimes use envelope sticker labels. You can go the the brand's website and resize to your desire, then print and cut out. That way you get a cleaner print than you'd see on construction paper and you don't have to worry about the lumpiness of tape. Keep at it! The only way to improve is to practice and try new ways of doing things. Wow: resized while I was typing this. How's that for service? Edited May 19, 2012 by Lego_Hero Quote
LuxorV Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Must have missed this before. I changed the huge deeplinked images to links. Please reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines, and then re-deeplink them. Thank you. Quote
