Drudoo Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 8028 - TIE Fighter Set Name: 8028 TIE Fighter Theme: Star Wars Released: 2012 Pieces: 46 Minifigs: 0 Price: Free on May 4th 2012 with Star Wars purchase. Bag: The set comes in a standard 13cm x 14cm polybag. Manual: The manual is fairly small. The build is 8 steps with 7 on one side and 1 on the other side. Interestingly enough LEGO choose to number all the parts in each step, with there own numbering system. Never seen that before. Parts: There is no part count on the bag. I counted 46 ;) There is two spare parts. 1x 1x1 round black plate and 1x round technic thingy (dont remember the real name) :) Build: Quite simple, with no problems or interesting build techniques. Rating: Build: 7 - nothing special, but not repetitive. Design: 8 - looks very good for a model that small Parts: 7 - again nothing special. Playability: 9 - has a lot of potential, but since it is not minifigure size it can be hard to combine with other things. Price: 10 - it was free ;) Total: 8 Quote
JackJonespaw Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Nice review! I really don't like how you can see the studs under the cockpit. It makes it lose quality somehow. Quote
